Mel and I met each other while working in Papa Palheta in 2009. Together with Leon we initiated a 3 month coffee pop up called The Steeping Room in 2011. Running Steeping Room was so much fun. We showcased different brew methods and broke the tradition notion of drinking coffee with sugar/ milk by offering coffee as it it.
This fond memories motivated Mel and myself to come together to reminisce a tiny bit our coffee memories through the "Let's Brew" weekend coffee project at Creamier. We ran two classes over Saturday and Sunday. The session was intimate and it was really nice that we got to know each attendees better.
