August on Film

August was filled with a number of exploration and fun. This was my first roll of Kodak Gold 200 and I was really happy with how the colours turned out to be. I must say it's my best roll!

I chanced upon a beautiful back alley behind my regular swimming and climbing spot while with my sister but didn't have my camera with me. I returned to the area on another day and brought the Voigtlander with me. The space is definitely a dream home/ studio.

Had a really nice stay over at Mel's place in Holland V. We binged over Netflix, coffee, cakes and her dog Patch was my bff for the weekend. Patch who is also known as 'Monitor' is a little body guard. His favourite hobby is to follow us around the house and especially into the bathroom.

And a lovely workshop with In Merry Motion at the Pop-Up at The National Design Centre. Weiyan's laughter is simply too cute and contagious and Gracie is such an amazing person! Through conversations I also realised that we have been attending the same church! We made lots of cute PomPoms and Tassles for the night. Cheryl got quite inspired and continued making more of them over the weekends.

A really short but nice lunch with Alexa and her girlfriends. The interior in Yet Con emits a sense of nostalgia. The place was dead quiet. It felt a little awkward as we were the only group inside but auntie and uncle was really chill. It's lovely how they still use the orange telephone in their shop.

Creamier's opening at Tiong Bahru. I was glad to share the joy of such an happy occasion with my favourite ice-cream joint. Mel, Willin and I feast and had a little too many cakes and ice cream.

August has been memorable month for me with numerous generosity and great blessings. How have your august been?
